I help experienced teachers who can’t face another decade of full-time teaching find a sustainable way to stay in the profession, without sacrificing the life they want.

You still love teaching. You’re just not sure you can keep doing it like this forever.

You’ve built a career you’re proud of. You’re experienced, capable and good at what you do. You still care about your pupils and the difference you make, and walking away from teaching isn’t necessarily what you want.

But somewhere along the way, the way you’re working has stopped feeling sustainable.

Maybe you can’t imagine doing another five, ten or fifteen years at the same pace. Perhaps you want more time and energy for your family, yourself or the parts of your life that have been squeezed around school for years. Or maybe you’ve reached a point in your career where you want something new to stretch you again.

And that can leave you wondering:

“If I don’t want to leave teaching, what else can I change?”.

That’s where I come in.

I help experienced teachers explore how their career could work differently. That might mean reducing your hours, changing the shape of your working week, exploring a different role or building something alongside teaching that gives you another source of purpose, challenge or income.

The goal isn’t to get you out of education. It’s to help you create a working life that allows you to keep the parts of teaching you still love, while making room for the life you want outside it too.

My Coaching is for you if……

You can see the next five or ten years stretching ahead and know you don’t want them to look exactly like the last five or ten.

You still care about teaching, but the thought of continuing full time at the same pace feels increasingly difficult. You’ve invested years in becoming good at what you do, so simply walking away doesn’t feel like the answer either.

Perhaps you’ve thought about reducing your hours, but worry about the financial implications or wonder what you would actually do with the time. Maybe you have ideas about something you could build alongside teaching, but they never seem to get beyond the thinking stage. Or perhaps you simply know you want your working life to feel different and have no idea yet what that difference looks like.

You might find yourself wondering:

“Can I afford to reduce my hours?”
“What else could I do alongside teaching?”
“Am I really going to keep working like this until retirement?”

You don’t need to have the answer before you come to coaching. That’s the point.

Together, we create the space to properly explore your options, work through the practical realities and turn vague thoughts about doing things differently into decisions and steps you can actually take.

Because the choice isn’t simply stay or leave.

There is a lot of possibility in between.

Your teaching career doesn’t have to be all or nothing.
